Position Overview: Youth hockey Level Coordinators are essential, serving as a vital connection between managers/coaches and the youth directors on the board. These experienced individuals help facilitate not only the logistics of hockey tournaments but also play a crucial role in educating families about the inner workings of the association. By bridging gaps and ensuring smooth communication, Level Coordinators enhance the operational effectiveness of the association and foster a supportive environment. Their efforts ensure that our young athletes receive the best possible experiences and opportunities for growth, both on and off the ice, solidifying the foundation of our community and its values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Youth Hockey Director to organize pre-skate sessions.
  • Coordinate the distribution of jerseys and socks to players.
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting potential team managers.
  • Manage and support the distribution association provided equipment to teams.
  • Conduct an audit of AAHA-owned equipment.
  • Act as the first line of support for issues from  families, managers, and coaches.
  • Provide support to the Tournament Director during the Anoka Tournaments and other ongoing events.

Requirements:

  • Have a USA hockey number
  • Pass Safesport and Background check
